Gain The Skies
Careers at GainJet

GainJet is an EASA AOC Operator of VIP aircraft. Our expanding fleet is currently 14 strong and planned to exceed 20 aircraft by mid 2012. The majority of the aircraft are mid-size and heavy business jets.

The fleet includes several large cabin VIP airliners which are flown on behalf of Heads of State, Royalty, Global Corporations, Premier Sports Teams and Internationally acclaimed Music Artistes.

Our aircraft are crewed by experienced professionals who are committed to providing a safe, first class service to our clients who fly all over the world. Although GainJet Aviation is a Greek company with our main headquarters in the beautiful, historic city of Athens – our aeroplanes are parked in different locations throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East. We therefore have a need for our people to be based in these different locations in order to best serve our customers.

Although GainJet does not have large recruitment drives for new-hire personnel, we do have an ongoing requirement for top quality experienced people who have an excellent track record of working in the corporate jet market.

Please note that we do not carry out ab-initio training and our minimum requirements are set out below. There are no exceptions to the minimum levels of experience which we require for successful applicants.

Flight Attendants
Minimum age 21 years, must have the right to live and work in the EU. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 months recent cabin crew experience with an established, reputable operator. Previous VIP/Corporate jet experience is a distinct advantage. Applicants will be well groomed, presentable with height in proportion to weight and committed to providing a safe, VIP travel experience for our customers. A range of rostering options are available to suit lifestyle, including month On/month Off.

Pilots
Due to the nature of our flight operations and the identities of our passengers, GainJet requires higher than normal levels of experience for pilots. Safety is our main concern.

A current JAA licence is essential, plus the right to live and work in the EU. In addition successful applicants will be currently type rated on the aircraft which GainJet operates. Captains must have a minimum of 3500 hours Total Time for our Gulfstream fleet and 8000 hours TT for our Boeing fleet – these must include 500 hours as PIC on type. First Officers must have a minimum of 1000 hours TT, which should include 500 hours on type. Note these are the minimum entry requirements and the majority of our pilots have considerably more experience.

Applications are only accepted via email. Applicants who do not meet the minimum employment criteria as above should not expect a reply.

If you do have at least the minimum necessary qualifications and wish to work for a vibrant, expanding company which still has a warm supportive family feel to it, then kindly send us your latest CV by email. This must include a photograph. Send it to: people@gainjet.com
